The 2023 Huafa Zhuhai Tennis Championship will usher in the third day of the main match tomorrow (September 9), and the second round of singles will start one after another. The tournament's top seed Kachanov will make his debut in Zhuhai. No. 22 seed Struff and No. 3 seed Yoshihito Nishioka took turns. Mo Yecong/Wang Xiaofei and Li Zhe/Gao Xin will appear in the doubles arena.

September 9 schedule

Tomorrow's tournament will start at 1pm (spectators can check in from Gate 11 of Hengqin Tennis International Center after 00:2 am and enter the Centre Court from 12:00 pm). In the schedule of Center Court, No. 8 seed Yoshihito Nishioka and South African Cannon player Harris, although Nishioka is ranked higher in the world, Harris has the upper hand with two wins in their previous two head-to-head records, which will be the first meeting between the two in the 2023 season.

No. 3 seed Struff will then appear to face Chilean brother Garin for a spot in the quarterfinals, who defeated China's Zhou Yi who was playing on his wild card in a three-set match today. McDonald and Kopejans, who defeated Shang Juncheng in the first round, will play in the third game.

Top seed Kachanov sits on the night court to face Australia's Usain Bolt. Usain Bolt broke through from the qualifying round of the Huafa Zhuhai Tennis Championship and has won three consecutive victories so far, establishing a good competitive form, and he won the men's singles championship as a dark horse in the 2018 Zhuhai Challenge, and has a good record at the Hengqin International Tennis Center. For Kachanov, this is the first match of his career in Zhuhai, and caution needs to be taken to avoid upsets.
